The Southwestern Ontario Development Fund, aided by the Ontario government, is investing in new equipment and growth opportunities with Guelph Manufacturing Group. Specializing in welding, metal stamping, and tube and wire forming for automotive seating components, the partnership will create 31 new jobs and retain 523 positions for the Guelph, Ontario based company.
Guelph Manufacturing Group itself is investing over $8.7 million to increase its manufacturing capabilities, aided by the grant of $874,800 from the province. With the assistance of the grant and Guelph Manufacturing’s own investment, the automotive seating manufacturer will be able increase its output of larger seating components, develop in-house design engineering capabilities, and advance its production efficiencies. The investment not only helps the company, but also the surrounding communities and the lives of the employees at the manufacturer.
The automotive seating component manufacturer is always looking to advance its technologies and capabilities, helping to solidify the Canadian company as a leader in automotive manufacturing in North America.
