The Jeep Cherokee KL is manufactured by Stellantis and has been in production since June, 2013. Model Years are 2014 – Present. This is the first Jeep ever to use the former Fiat Compact/Compact Wide Platform. The wheel base is 5.1 inches longer than for the Jeep Cherokee XJ.
Guelph Manufacturing Group is proud to be the seat structure supplier of this mid-size crossover Jeep SUV. Guelph is manufacturing the seat cushion frame, front head restraint, center head restraint, rear seat center stanchion and both the 40% and 60% 2nd row seat back frame.
These seat structure parts are produced on stamping presses ranging from 100 tons to 1600 tons. Guelph uses CNC Benders, Broach Notches, Coil Fed Transfer Die, Projection Die, Robotic Mig Welding to name a few to manufacture these value added seating assemblies and head restraint armatures.
